Have you ever been out at the mall and someone stops you and your child and says how cute they are? They then hand you a flyer that offers to sign your child up for Disney or Nickelodeon auditions? What’s the first thing they ask for? MONEY! RED FLAG! SCAM ALERT! The Mission of LaTonya Holmes, LLC is to prevent you from being scammed out of thousands of dollars by these “so-called” talent agents.

My inspiration for creating this company came from years of being a non scamming weekend traveling talent scout for Barbizon Modeling Agency in Los Angeles while in between gigs as a working professional SAG-AFTRA actress, voice over talent and commercial print model and falling in love with the kids I discovered who just had the IT factor naturally. I was always an honest scout, even when parents begged to pay for workshops after I told them I didn’t feel their kid was quite ready yet. However, I would always encourage them to keep grooming their child and to stay in touch with me to maybe try again in six months to a year. I also loved educating them on how to tell if a talent agency was legit or not.

After getting my incredibly gifted five year old great niece Ava signed  to an Atlanta agency when she was two years old as well as many other amazing kids placed with my personal agents in L.A., LaTonya Holmes, LLC was born.

This business is near and dear to my heart and your child will be treated and cared for as my own. As an Actor and Aunt in this industry, I understand how important your child’s well being is and while we cannot guarantee your child will be placed with an agent, we vow to do our very best to help you land a legit talent agent and provide tips to help your child succeed in the industry!
